Speaking at AltBuild Expo, the annual alternative building materials and design exposition in Santa Monica, gave me a terrific introduction to this gathering. AtlBuild Expo is now in its ninth year and they are doing some exciting things!  If you’ve not heard of, or not attended, this event, it’s a small convention-style gathering of more than one hundred exhibitors and educational speaking events and speaker panels.
